Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Administrator looking for a new opportunity? We are currently working exclusively with a long-established Hinckley organisation who are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Purchase Ledger Assistant. As the Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all purchase transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and assisting with various administrative tasks. This is a full-time, permanent position, and can be flexible with the working hours to accommodate the right candidate. Standard working hours are 40 per week but consideration could be given to the idea of anything from 32 hours +. Key Responsibilities: Process and reconcile purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies Ensuring authorisation of purchase invoices before payment processing Administration of employee expenses Month-end cash book reconciliations  Liaise with suppliers, the immediate team, management, and other stakeholders to address queries and resolve payment-related matters Collaborate with the Financial Controller and other team members to improve processes and efficiency within the purchase ledger function Take ownership of the role and demonstrate leadership qualities in driving the success of the department Provide support to the wider finance team as required including ad-hoc purchasing activities To excel in this role, you should have previous experience in a similar Accounts Payable position. Strong administrative skills and attention to detail are essential, as well as proficiency in using computer systems and software related to finance and accounting. We are looking for a proactive and confident individual who can communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Your ability to build strong relationships with suppliers, colleagues, and management will be crucial to your success in this role. In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum.
