As you report to the Financial Controller (who, incidentally, envisions you as their potential successor), you will play a pivotal role within the finance team, leveraging financial insights to shape critical decisions. Your role includes: Preparing month-end and year-end financial reports. Cost/Sales Budgeting and forecasting Various aspects of stock accounting/reporting Delivering insightful analysis of profitability reporting, by multiple categories Monthly reviewing of control accounts. Ensuring control of promotional provisions and payments to customers  Creating requests for Capital Expenditure. Addressing ad hoc reporting requests by various internal/external stakeholders Support the FC in various daily/weekly and ad-hoc development projects Liaise with the external auditors for the year-end accounts  There are a few things you'll need to have/be: CIMA/ACCA qualified Ideally previous experience in a manufacturing environment  Strong analytical skills with a great eye for dealing with complex data. High proficiency in Excel, Access/databases, and Ideally Power BI. Superb communication skills In addition to the essential qualifications, possessing a genuine passion for data and its illuminating insights can greatly enrich your role. A natural curiosity to streamline processes, an aptitude for bridging data with business objectives, and a strong desire to comprehend and enhance systems are all highly valued attributes that will elevate your effectiveness in this role.
